Personal Introductions & Real Estate Objectives

I was born in North Hollywood, California on April 14,1951.  I attended school in the San Fernando Valley (Chandler elementary, Milliken Jr. High, and Grant High School).  Upon graduation from Grant, I received a Baseball Scholarship to attend the University of Colorado.  I played 4 years of Baseball for Colorado and graduated in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.

I married my wife, Jennifer, in 1975 and moved to Ojai the same year.  I have been in the Real Estate business since moving to Ojai and have been a Broker/Owner since 1978.

My partner and I formed the Property Shoppe in 1978, and became the Coldwell Banker Property Shoppe in 1986.  We currently have 45 full-time sales people generating 6.75 million in yearly commissions which accounts for approximately 60% of the Real Estate business in the Ojai Valley!

Some of my past achievements include:

  • President of the Ojai Valley Board of Realtors in 1981 and 1998;
  • State Licensed Real Estate Appraiser;
  • Licensed General Contractor;
  • Charger Member of the Ojai Rotary West;
  • Current member of the Ojai Valley Multiple Listings Committee;
  • Member of the Coldwell Banker Residential Affiliated "Chairman's Circle", (top 50 office in the nation);
  • Member of the Coldwell Banker President's Circle (outstanding Sales Performance).

I currently have 3 children - Katie age 32, Meaghan age 30, and Andrew age 22.

My hobbies include Tennis, Water and Snow Skiing, Running, Surfing, Golfing and Slow Pitch Softball.

My Real Estate Objective and Goal is to provide my clientele with the best service and knowledge available in the Real Estate Industry.  In today's market, a client can only make an intelligent decision after receiving full disclosure and knowledge on the products they are contemplating purchasing.
